Fingerprinting
Background Resources is a licensed Livescan fingerprinting vendor through the Illinois State Police. Our Livescan fingerprinting services allows us to capture fingerprints on a scanner, take a photo and send the information electronically to the Illinois State Police for processing.
Results are typically returned within 48 to 72 hours to the licensing bodies within the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
Employers may also utilize us to capture fingerprints for potential hires, but would have to be set up through their own portal within the Illinois State police in order to have the fingerprint results returned. This only applies to State and FBI results.

Background Resources has assisted many companies with their Illinois fingerprinting needs since 1998.
We take appointments (which can be scheduled by contacting our office or fill out the request form above and we will contact you to schedule your appointment). We can be reached Monday through Friday during normal business hours. A valid ID and payment is required upon arrival.
We also offer onsite Livescan fingerprinting services to groups of 10 or more within a 30 mile radius (Additional traveling fees may apply). Contact our office for group discounts.
